What are brand touch points?

A brand touch point occurs any time a customer or potential customer interacts with your business.

Brainstorm all of your touch points and see where you can start implementing your brand identity. It is important to use it consistently as this will help make a more memorable impression with your audience. From digital to physical, here are some ideas you might want to start with:

01 / Business cards + stationery

One of the most exciting places to see your logo is on a business card. It’s often the first physical touchpoint you have with anyone who’s interested in your products or services. If you need ideas on how to get creative with your cards see this post.

We had these printed at Printed.com using the white ink on black stock. Moo is another great place to get cards printed and is available in both the UK and USA.

02 / E-signature

A pain point we discovered quite early on was getting an email signature to look good. It can be a bit tricky to execute through your email provider only. However with Hubspots free email signature generator you can get one that’s easy to create and looks good. You can include your logo, a photo, social media icons and even change the colour to match your brand identity.

03 / Promo items

Who doesn’t love a good promo item that you can actually use. Rep your new brand identity around the supermarket with a reuseable tote. Order several and use to put client gifts in. Make sure your promo items align with your brand - here’s a 'high quality’ and ‘robust’ bag – things we value when approaching our work!

04 / Google My Business profile

The often forgotten Google my Business profile. Make sure you update your logo and all those important details which help others find you. We’ve written a post dedicated to getting your set up with a Google My Business profile– Check it out here.

05 / Packaging + Stickers

You don’t have to be a product based business to think about packaging. Something as small as a custom sticker can really help your business stand out. Keep it simple by using your logo over a brand colour or get creative with a die cut shape and design using your brand patterns, icons or other elements and create something your customers will love as a token freebie. We use Sticker Mule for ours because you just can’t beat the quality. A great way to add a little something extra to your direct mail, products or client gifts.

06 / Community Groups

Find community groups where your ideal client hangs out and post about your launch, link your website or social media featuring your new brand identity. Facebook has so many groups to join and is a great place to make some genuine connections with your potential customers.

07 / Signage

Whether you have a physical presence or work from a spare bedroom in your house having a sign can be a great way to have your brand identity in the background of your social media or zoom calls, another visual touch point where your audience can get to know you better. From vinyl letters to neon tubes or laser cut wood - the possibilities are endless.
